Wisconsin FFA Foundation

SPONSORS BOARD

The Foundation is the fund raising branch of FFA. The Foundation’s mission is a commitment to “support-ing and expanding the educational activities of the Wisconsin Association of FFA, its members, and chapters.”

The Sponsors Board is appointed by The Wisconsin FFA Foundation Board and is charged with fund raising responsibilities for The Foundation, in association with the Executive Director of the Foundation.

The Sponsors Board serves as a development team, assisting the staff with Identification, Cultivation, Ac-quisition, Recognition, and Education (I CARE) of Foundation sponsors.

The Sponsors Board members consider individuals and organizations that could derive a benefit from work-ing with The Foundation and what it offers to Wisconsin’s 17,000+ FFA members. This process is greatly en-hanced when the members of the Board:
- establish a personal commitment to The Foundation’s mission (each member is expected to make a per-sonal financial contribution to The Foundation’s general fund).
- initiate cooperation.
- recommend prospective donors.
- develop new individual and corporate relationships that will result in Foundation sponsorship.
