The Career Show is an educational and recreational gathering of business & industry, educational institutions, and non-profit associations with a connection to agriculture, food and natural resources. It’s similar to a trade show, and also includes a strong educational element. This event is held during the State FFA Convention. What a great opportunity for exhibitors the opportunity to reach FFA’s youngest leaders and potential employers!
The FFA Foundation welcomes all FFA members; educational instructors, staff and delegates; friends and family to the Alliant Energy Center Exhibition Hall on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Interact with industry leaders
The Career Show isn't your ordinary trade show, and thus requires more than your ordinary trade show display. Here are a few tips to help you plan:
- Create a career show marketing plan. Its important to determine specific event objectives for your booth brand awareness, product or service offerings, career opportunities, consumer or customer education, etc.
- Develop a compelling message. Students love interactive booths, so create a compelling message competitions, objects that use all five senses, give-aways, graphics, banners, presentations, etc.
- FFA Bucks is an incentive program for FFA members. They earn the - money for participation and good behavior and later use it to - purchase auction items. Exhibitors will get a packet of FFA Bucks to distribute during the Career Show and some have been very creative in their distribution methods.
- Set a WOW exhibit. This attracts people and instantly conveys your image and product message. Create a marketing message with a powerful punch and don't forget to think outside of the box.
